Abstract

In the article the institutional disintegration processes and their role in ethnic identity formation are analyzed. The author analyzes that ethnic behavior is structured at the institutional level that is at the level of institutional exceptions, nstitutional exceptions in discourse space have autonomous functional mechanism of development. If ethnic communities consider institutional exceptions as behavioral imperative, it will lead to ethnogeny.
