Abstract

Summary: The article analyzes social impact of ethnical institu-tions disintegration in linguistic and religious spheres on formation of new ethnic identity and sub-ethnic groups. The author considers ethnicity as a set of ethnical institutions, which reflect normative concep-tions regarding ideal behaviour of ethnic groups’ members. An ethnic society appears when re-interpreting ethno-reality there appears common agreement regarding institutions and non-formalized exceptions.
