Ethical Strategies in Engineering Ethical Strategies in Engineering // Semestrial Papers of Applied Ethics. 2014. Issue 44. P. 67-81/ ISSN 2307-518ХPosted on site: 27.06.15AbstractEthical search for validations in engineering profession is an object of the article. Responsibility is taken for being key notion in every engineering codex. But the very notion is vague and dynamically changing. The model of monocentric responsibility of early modernity has been crucially reshaped and nowadays substituted by the model of polycentric responsibility. Theoretically engineers have a wider choice of ethical theories to ground on, that makes their professional culture based on the principles and values of ethical egotism. Morally their professional conduct is becoming more reflexive and flexible.
