Abstract

This article documents the perception of fascism as a historical phenomena, the re-emergence of the Italian neo-fascist movement in the post-war Italy based on demoscopic and historiographical sources. The ruined by the antifascist revolution dictatorship remained dual remembrances of  itself: from one side, it was perceptible as the most obscure time in the contemporary history of Italy, as its “black gap”, and from other side, as a great epoch, marked by heroism without precedents, absorbed by irreversible past. The historical myth of the Resistance that formed the bases of the state was condemned to contest the “anti-myth” of the fascism, it failed the efforts of its “de-mythological” efforts
