Abstract

The book presents the main milestones of the history of Russian Political Science Association (RPSA). Analyzes the processes of formation of political science community in the Soviet period and its development in modern Russia, the interaction of domestic and foreign scientists in the process of becoming the world's political science and the formation of the International Political Science Association. Submited the analysis of the RPSA approval as a historical successor of the Soviet Political Sciences Association, examined the scientific, informational, publishing and organizational activities of the organization as a centre of consolidation of Russian political science community, development of the system of training scientific manpower and teaching personnel.
