Didenko D. Creativity in Economic History Retrospective: Intellectual Laborers in Industrial and Postindustrial Society

Abstract

The article outlines a theoretical context in which academic literature of the latest decades analyzed socio-economic aspects of intellectual production and its subjects. The author systematizes the appropriate definitions and concepts that characterize intellectual laborers. The author revisits their basic features as the subjects of intellectual production in the framework of historical changes of socio-economic functions of intellectual labor in the process of industrial society development and its transition to post-industrial (information) society.
