Abstract

This article is the output of empirical research in Sverdlovskaya region based on in-depth face-to-face interviews with the key local businessmen and experts. It describes and explains the interpretations of the idea of social responsibility by businessmen. It shows that their understanding of social responsibility is heterogeneous and allows us to conclude that in case of crisis business will behave differently.
