ACTIVIST PAR ADIGM OF MANAGEMENT AT THE TR ANSITIONAL EPOCH: ADAPTATION OR RESISTANCE

Abstract

The paper considers the response of professionals on the change oriented towards introduction of the country into global market. The presented analysis is the last part of the research of the role of professionals in the management system. One of the results of this research is the concept of actor paradigm of Russian managerial tradition that is basing on the relative freedom of professional action. The paper analyzes the perspectives of above paradigm to market reforms and its consequences, and to introduction of Western standards of management and professional activities. Professionals cannot adapt to the changes, which they consider as destructive for their activities. Their reaction is interpreted as resistance to such changes.
