Modern discourse of russian nationalists (based on the analysis of internet activity)

Abstract

The modern discourse of prime nationalist groups in Russia is analyzed. The suggested by A. Verkhovsky typology, differentiating nationalist groups on the basis of their political views, is applied and verified. Primordial understanding of ethnics category inside the analyzed groups discourse is substantiated. Moreover, popularity potential of the ideas and ethnic Russians’ position in the state suggested by the studied groups in the context of economical and political situation in the country is evaluated.
