Social inequalities in modern Russia: subjectivity, main directions of development

Abstract

Authors allocate the main levels of social inequalities in modern society. The first – inequalities of system nature; the second – an inequality of individual properties and opportunities of the personality. The author analyzes inequalities of the first level which are directly connected with the difficult transformational tendencies occurring in Russia now. Essential material is represented in this respect by social statistics about the most universal indicators of dynamics of social and structural processes in the country in general and in regional spaces.
