Balance of interethnic attitudes and peculiarity of perception of the interethnic situation

Abstract

The purpose of this article was to present the tools and results of measurements of the balance of interethnic attitudes of Russians, allowing to differentiate the risks of ethnic tensions related to the peculiarities of this index. The main conclusion is that the reaction of the detected analytical groups in different directions reflect the same profile of attitudes to different ethnic groups, which is characteristic for the Russian society as a whole. However, none of these groups does not form this profile. Thus, the prevalence of nationalistic disposition in society is a symptom of the latent public request for the solution of urgent problems of interethnic interaction in local societies.
