The evolution of ideas about the principles of production of new sociological knowledge by means of mathematical methods: from classical to post-non-classical schemes

Abstract

The paper shows that the process of obtaining a new sociological knowledge with the help of mathematical methods consistent with the principles (types of .science rationality) postnonclassical science. For specific tasks necessary condition for the adequacy of the process is the account depending the result of the method chosen (for the solution of any problem, as a rule, there is more than one method, different methods lead to different sociological conclusions) and intrinsic qualities of the sociologist (his views, knowledge, values; it is these qualities that dictate the choice of the method and approaches to interpetation of the results).
