Cherednichenko G. The Personal Plans of Secondary School Seniors

Abstract

In our research projects, covering many years (1960-2000’s), concerning the problems of young people’s orientations and choice of profession, we have examined the role played by objective and subjective factors in the shaping of personal plans of senior students in secondary school and their actual paths in life. Substantial results have been obtained in the study of the influence of these factors on the orientation and behavior of young people. Taking account of accumulated experience, in 2004 a new analogous survey was conducted in the same region among graduates of high schools. The results are presented.
