Abstract

The article presents the conceptual bases of JSM-method and basic proceduraldecisions. Possibilities of JSM-method for typological analysis and the experienceof its use in the study of types of civic participation. The method was used to analyzethe causal dependencies in the data submitted by the positive, negative anduncertain examples relationships between subject and behavior. It has been shownthat it is possible to make consistent meaningful conclusions about the characteristicsof the nominal group, even if it is small.
