Abstract

Attempt to identify and describe briefly the historically existing forms of violence as a necessary preliminary stage of formation of multidimensional classification. Allocated the following forms: 1) violence as a specific attribute of existence of the species Homo sapiens,  the feature that distinguishes him from animals; 2) armed violence; 3) military violence; 4) systempowerstate the use of violence; 5) innovation; 6) socio-political; 7) culturally sanctioned violence; 8) criminal; 9) violence-retribution; 10) symbolic; 11) nonviolence. Detail the characteristics of terrorist violence.
