Abstract

The article compares some aspects of the ethnic self-consciousness of teenagers who are brought up in mono-ethnic and interethnic families. The hypothesis of the impact of special conditions of mono-ethnic and bio-ethnic cultural family environment on the socialization and upbringing of children and draws conclusions about the absence of significant differences in the ethnic identity of adolescents brought up in mono-ethnic and interethnic families, about the absence of relationship between the indicators of ethnic and religious tolerance, perception of interethnic relations and ethnic family type.
