The article reviews the current state of the theory underlining the moments connected with post-industrial society, especially since Marxists social science seamlessly explains the development of the Humanity from one organizational form to another and the most of other progressive development theories are based on it. And despite the fact, that pioneers of postindustrial theory (D. Bell and A. Toffler) distanced themselves from the Marxism, their followers were Post-Marxists (like Manuel Castells). Therefore, contemporary Post-Industrial society discourse can be viewed as modern incarnation of the Marxism.
