The work was carried out on the basis of secondary analysis of available researches and statistical data (desk research). Each national research team provided information on its countryin six thematic blocks. These materials were discussed and supplemented at joint seminars and conference. Final work, summarising the materials of research and international statistics, «Me-Generation in Post-Collectivist Space. Dilemmas during the Time of Transition» will be published in2017 by Peter Lang International Academic Publishers. The proposed monograph presents materials prepared during the development of the Russian part of the International project. The national team managed to consider a wider range of issues than it was possible when comparing the data on countries in the final work of the project. It contains statistical data and the results of sociological research that represent Russian youth in the dynamics of recent decades. Sections of the monograph cover different topics: socio-economic and cultural prerequisitesfor the transformation processes taking place in the country; socialization of youth; social problems of education; the entry of young people into an independent life (work and employment, family, consumption, leisure); attitudes and behavior of young people in public life; integration of youth into society.Published materials can serve as a source of various information about young people in Russian society and will be useful for Russian and foreign researchers, as well as for a wide range of readers.
