Civil War as National Tragedy of Russia. In: Vlast i obschestvo. Uroki istorii. K 100-letiyu revolyutsii v Rossii

Abstract

In article the reasons of the beginning of Civil War in Russia are analyzed. Civil war is considered as continuation of revolution of 1917, the next step of her escalation. The author shows interrelation of contradictory socio-political forces in definition of a vector of development of Russia. In article tragic consequences of Civil war are defined: mass death of civilians, hunger, ruin, emigration. Still split society on the ideological and political and spiritual and moral bases isn't overcome. Data of sociological researches the attitude of Russians of revolution and Civil war of 1917-1922 are provided in the conclusion.
