Abstract

The compilation is made on materials of work of the international conference Russia and the world: global challenges and the strategy of sociocultural modernization which took place on October 12-13, 2017 in Moscow with financial support of the Russian scientific fund (grant No. 15-18-30077). In the center of attention there are problems of the power-management vertical reforming in the country in response to external and internal calls and threats in the context of solving tasks of social and cultural modernization of the Russian regions. The main content presented on the discussion of the participants reports are the results of the basic research conducted by forces of staff of the Center of sociology of management and social technologies IS RAS in 2015-2017 with assistance of the RSF. The conference was attended by scientists from foreign countries and various regions of Russia, including those in which the collection of empirical materials was conducted, and as well as the leadership and members of such influential at home and abroad sociological societies as RSS and SPS. Among foreign participants it should be noted the presentations made by the scholars from the Republic of Belarus (member of the RSF grant) and also from China, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Italy, England and other countries. The contents of the collection correspond to structure of the conference: to reports at the Plenary session and their discussions on five sections. The compilation is aimed primarily on activization of scientific communication of experts of various profiles interested in deepening of scientific research in this direction. It is also necessary to remind that that it is the second book on this subject.Materials of the first conference called Modernization of a domestic control system: the analysis of tendencies and the forecast of development was published by IS RAS in 2014.
