Abstract

Based on a series of biographical interviews with modern Russian people, the study analyzes their career strategies and paths in political and administrative field. The research focuses on successful political models, factors of career advancement and the key channels of social mobility ensuring the youth integration into politics. The author describes the main stages of career development, analyzes changes in behavioral strategies and motivational attitudes of young managers. The research notes that the career mobility of politically active young people differs significantly from mobility of other social groups and is characterized by high competition, incomplete and undetermined requirements for young candidates, loyalty to existing intra-group standards, differentiated system of ways of integration into political area
