Abstract

The article considers the phenomenon of political consent in the context of consolidation of society on a democratic basis. Attention is drawn to the fact that, in general, socio-political relations change their nature and content depending on the trends in the development of social reality. In a global society of risk, socio-political relations also demonstrate ambivalent dynamics. The context of the new social reality, which also has a political dimension, makes it possible to identify a close link between political harmony, social consolidation and the development of democracy. Russia is just beginning its path towards multilevel consolidation.
