Abstract

The article analyzes the results of a survey of the chief narcologists of the Russian Federation on the interaction between drug service and the primary health care (medical examination, professional examinations, ambulance, clinics). The aim is to identify health disorders associated with alcoholism, mitigation of stigmatization of drug intervention. The work in this direction in different regions of the country is studied. It is expected to introduce new technologies of screening and motivational interview in the work of primary care doctors and medical prevention to reduce the consumption of alcoholic beverages among the population. The organizational measures that subjectively and objectively facilitate access to drug treatment are discussed.
