Abstract

The article analyzes the innovations of the migration legislation of 2013–2016, the tasks they pursued, and the results to which they resulted. The main attention is paid to attempts to improve the system of migration accounting, reduce administrative barriers and corruption risks in the sphere of migration, expand the powers of the Russian regions in the regulation of migration.
