Abstract

The subject of this study is the dynamics and structure of the training of scientific personnel in the context of the priorities of Russia's social and economic development. The task of the research is to identify the reasons for the shortage of scientific personnel, as well as the low efficiency of their participation in the development and promotion of innovations in various sectors of the economy. The conclusion is drawn that the influx of highly qualified personnel contributes to the growth of labor productivity in the sectors of the economy. The importance of ensuring conditions for the progressive development and implementation of scientific competencies and scientific capital during the whole period of education, professional training and subsequent professional activity is underlined.
