Abstract

The author, stating the variety of ideological forms in modern Russian society and the need for ideological design, defines the notion of images of ideology, and also reveals the socio-cognitive potential of ideology images in the formation of an adequate assessment of the ideological situation in Russia and the processes of social modernization of Russian society. The author calls for the development of a new ideological scenario of Russia, connected with the development of the wealth of the ideological heritage, with ideological creativity, demythologization of the political space, getting rid of sociocultural barriers in the form of elite and mass images of ideology.
