Abstract

The article actualize the problem of modernization of approaches to social processes management  on the example of purposeful activity on preservation and development of health of the population. It is concluded that the resource approach to the assessment of human potential and, accordingly, its management is insufficient. A new theoretical and managerial approach based on the assessment of health as an integral characteristic of social development and quality of life of the population is substantiated.
