Due to the diversity of political, legal, historical and ethnodemographic contexts in different countries of the world, a number of models of language policy in education have been developed, none of which can be considered suitable for any situation. Even where problems seem to have been solved, new challenges arise from time to time. They relate not only to the realization of language rights, but also to the problems of maintaining consent, social and political stability and the integrity of states.
