Abstract

The article deals with a civil socialization of youth in contemporary Russia. It is shown that in general young people reproduce a spectrum of basic political orientations and attitudes existing in Russian society. It is concluded that the civil socialization of today's Russian youth reflects its own generation experience, as well as relations between the state and society as a whole. The combination of traditional and modern norms and practices of youth behavior is an important factor in ensuring Russia's national security.
