Abstract

The article is elaborated within the framework of the project “Global Values: scientific rationale of the existence of global values as the basis for the development of modern society”, which is maybe implemented at the Lomonosov Moscow state University in 2018. The article is devoted to the study of the opinion of the inter-national expert community — members of the International Consortium of global studies on the existence of the phenomenon of global universal values in the modern world. The research was conducted by online survey. On the basis of the survey data, conclusions are drawn on the clarification of the concept of “global universal values” and on the peculiarities of the interpretation of global universal values in the context of international politics. The authors emphasize the intersectoral nature of the claimed subject matter and the need for a comprehensive approach to its study, together with other branches of social science (philosophy, psychology, sociology, political science, economics) in order to develop common scientific based principles for solving urgent problems that equally consider the peculiarities of intersectoral regulation.
