Abstract

An integral feature of modern social life was the presence of a virtual society – a duplicate social space in which the phenomena and processes of physical social reality are refracted. Since computer social reality is derived from the real society, we can talk about the unity of the laws connecting the virtual and physical society, as well as the presence of not only universal trends, but also the country specifics of their development. One of the unifying characteristics of online and offline societies is the manifestation of social inequality of citizens. Thus, social networks of the Internet represent a virtual projection of social imbalances and ideological and political conflict inherent in modern Russian society, and in this sense are of particular interest from the point of view of scientific analysis and political forecasting.
