Abstract

The article examines the connection of practices of discrimination of women with informal employment. The research is based on the data of qualitative interviews conducted in Bashkortostan in 2018. It is concluded that  various forms of violations of women's rights in the formal sector of the economy are the cause of their displacement and consolidation in the workplace without formal labor legislation.
