Abstract

The First World War was an important stage in the formation of national states in the countries of Central-Eastern and Southeastern Europe, when the collapse of the three empires of the black eagles - the Austro-Hungarian, German and Russian empires occurred. Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Serbia gained nationality.
