Abstract

The article analyzes the general theoretical approaches to determining the ways of socio-cultural adaptationof immigrants in modern Russian society. It is shown how the cultural relations between the permanent residentsof the regions and the newly arrived population are carried out, especially the part that, after the adaptation period,remains at a permanent place of residence, i.e. becomes labor immigrants. On the basis of the expert survey, the authorsdescribe the main directions of adaptation ways of familiarizing immigrants in the system of life relations. For the firsttime it is shown how social and cultural relations between permanent residents and newly arrived population are carriedout in the sphere of labor activity and family relations. The focus is on the analysis of the real state of national cultureas the main factor in determining the level of socio-cultural adaptation of immigrants. Based on empirical data, formedthe actual performance of the adaptation process, taking into account the identification of adaptive characteristics of thesubject, the assimilation of all conditions, making the person adapted and has it’s own identity.
