Abstract

The article raises questions of the quality of the national elite, in particular its political part. One of the actual components of the complex of qualities of political elites is the level of political culture of its representatives.  Political culture acts as a generalized expression of the psychological and subjective dimension of politics. An essential component of political culture is a strategic culture: views on the essence of world development, assessment of risks, threats and challenges of our time, the ability to think strategically and persistently implement strategic plans and achieve significant goals. The growing need in the public consciousness for people who can think strategically is determined by the need to think not only about tactical victories, but also about global strategic gains.
