Abstract

Current transformations in higher education in the digital era are under the consideration. Digital technologies change university education crucially, bringing new opportunities and risks simultaneously. The main victim of this process is university professorship. The substitution of traditional tete-a-tete communication by on-line courses makes eudcation more comfortable, cheaper, but less attractive for younger generations and effective in terms of personality formation and professional ethics. The proposed model of sustainable university deals with these ambiguities, openning gates for basics in the world net, and sfiting soft skills into traditional university communication.
