Abstract

Despite the huge number of studies and publications, the concept of the revolution is debatable in society and in academic discourse on the subject even among experts there is no consensus. Increased attention to the issue of revolutions in General and the assessment of the 1917 revolution in Russia, in particular, indicates the presence of a public request for study of the theoretical and practical aspects of the epochal events of national history, but also on the scientific search for new approaches to their evaluations and interpretations.
