Abstract

Innovations and traditions in Russian higher education: socio-economic aspects. The article analyzes the problems of innovation while maintaining the traditional approaches to the development of the Russian system of higher education. The authors made an attempt to find an adequate combination of innovations and traditions, because, in their opinion, the solution of the majority of problems of the Russian education system development lies in this plane.
