Abstract

Some results of the interdisciplinary study «Engineering Dynasties in Russia», which is connducted by employees of the department of sociology of professions and professional groups of the Institute of Sociology of the FCTAS RAS together with teachers of science cities and is devoted to the identification of socio-cultural characteristics that stimulate the professionalization of engineers are analized in the article.
