Abstract

In the article, on the basis of the development of ethno-economic models and scenarios, the features of the development of interethnic relations in modern Russian society on the example of a specific sociological study of the West Siberian, Nizhny Novgorod, South Russian regions in the context of national and economic security. It is concluded that the basis of harmonious interethnic relations in Russia and its regions can only be the formation of a common Russian identity as the unity of the diversity of ethnic identities of the peoples of Russia on the basis of civilization of the Russian nation: Russian socio-cultural type.
