Abstract

Primorye is one of the centers of attraction for natives from the North Caucasus republics, including Dagestan. This article examines the basic demographic characteristics of Dagestanis living in Primorsky Krai. Also presented are main results of an expert survey, reveals the attitude of the regional authorities of Primorye to the natives from Dagestan. The research was the reconnaissance. The main conclusion is that experts appreciate the attitude of the indigenous population and natives from Dagestan, which does not violate the usual atmosphere of the Primorye cities, characterized by relative tolerance toward migrants.
