Abstract

The monograph was prepared within the framework of the scientific and educational consortium Vernadsky-Kuzbass.The monograph presents the experience of the Center of the Education Development Strategy of Lomonosov Moscow State University in complex sociological analysis of the education system of the Russian region by the case of the Kemerovo region – Kuzbass. The objective of the study is to examine general secondary, secondary vocational, special and higher education in the region.The total data set for the region amounted to more than 7,000 units. Among them were representatives of the administration of educational institutions, school teachers, school and university students and their parents.The conclusions and recommendations proposed by the results of the study formed the basis for the formulation of the Strategy of the development of education in the Kuzbass region for the coming years and were repeatedly presented at all-Russian and regional conferences, exhibitions, forums and congresses.
