Abstract

The article examines the values of Russian students, presents the data of the study conducted in 2018 in five Russian universities (Lomonosov Moscow state University, St. Petersburg State University, TSU, SamSTU, Sevsu). In doing so, we use the theoretical concept of traditionalist modernization. The article analyzes the results of factor analysis of leisure practices of students of Russian universities, as well as such indicators as religiosity, authority and authoritative opinion, responsibility, tolerance of students. As a result, the conclusion is made about the syncretic nature of development, as well as about the universalism of the values of student youth, which are flexible both in relation to the processes of modernization and preservation of the Russian specificity of values. These studies conducted in 2012 and 2018, allow us to talk about the change in the religiosity of the students of MSU and St. Petersburg state University, their attitude to the gospel commandments, which ultimately, according to the theory of "multiple contemporaries, affects the development.
