Employment Service, 2020, no. 2, pp. 38-47.ISSN 2074-9597Posted on site: 10.04.20 AbstractThe empirical description of the employment of university graduates throughout Russia based on the survey of the Federal State Statistics Service of the RF on the all-Russian representative sample is presented. A number of indicators of employment are analyzed: work during the learning period, the ratio of those who searched and did not search for work, who received and did not get their first job; the timing and difficulties of finding employment immediately after graduation; correlation between the first workplace and the specialty of education, qualification level of the diploma; the proportion of people who are not employed by profession, depending on the profession of education. The salaries of graduates in some groups of statuses are compared with the corresponding salaries of all employed with higher education
