Abstract

This article deals with current issue on national security of the country relating to the «externalities» of Mass Media on modern society. The author considers both the common questions (legal regulation, key threats and challenges relevant to the modern social reality of Russia) and the promising trend to keep the country’s national security (security of its consciousness). Mass Media play a special role in supporting (destructing) this area that make a different hidden influence on society’s consciousness and its manipulation. The promising trends to keep national security become actual in the article.
