Abstract

The article refers to the semantic barriers that are used in modern information (meaningful) wars. The fashion for negative attitude to the term propaganda turns out to be a semantic barrier for a large part of Russian youth, which prevents the treatment of media materials that explain the position of the authorities and the country, makes it difficult for social adaptation. Fashion for a certain variant of reactions in relation to a particular public person, genre, form of information, etc. is used as well. Constant monitoring of social after-events, which are initiated by the meanings circulating in society, is important for positive social processes. It is also important to develop the mass development of understanding skills in the field of social communication.
