Abstract

The monograph is based on a series of studies conducted by the Institute of socio-political research The Russian Academy of Sciences (ISPI FNISTC RAS) and the Moscow Institute of social and cultural programs, under the scientific supervision of the authors. The third edition of the book Always a Great Victory is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the victory of the Soviet people and their armed Forces Forces in the great Patriotic war. The book is based on the results of surveys of war veterans. The book deals with the problems of civic education the article presents a picture of external and internal threats to the Russian state and society at different historical stages in the assessments and perceptions of respondents. Familiarity with the rich empirical material contained in the book is of interest to researchers and practitioners. A sociological excursion into the military history of our country allows us to better see and evaluate the features of modernity and, based on the experience of the past and present, to formulate more precisely tasks of creation and protection of Russia.
