Abstract

The article shows the attitude to the Second World War of two strata of compatriots: dissidents and collaborators. He explores the genesis, causes, motivation that led them to a grave crime, which is the betrayal of the homeland and the willingness to cooperate with its enemies. In the author’s field of vision are foreign centers that continuously carry out subversive activities against the USSR and Russia for decades. The article contains conclusions, a number of wishes regarding Russian historical science, which can help cleanse the history of the Second World War from slander and insinuations of enemies, from excessive praise and turn it into a strict scientific discipline and a true school of patriotism for successive generations of Russians.
