In the modern world of various risks and threats, in the conditions of mutual influence of demographic changes and socio-economic stability, the issues of assessing the level of food security of the population remain quite relevant. The author examines current issues and methods for assessing indicators of physical and economic accessibility of agricultural products in the EAEU member States, as well as the level of nutrition of the population of the EAEU member States during the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic. The need for further and more in-depth cooperation of the member States of the EEC in the field of food security of the population, joint research is noted.
