The necessity to increase the effectiveness of the population policy regarding fertility determines the relevance of this study primarily in terms of its practical significance. The scientific novelty of the study is based on a comparative analysis of the nature of the determination of reproductive behavior in two countries (Russia and Iran) that will be carried out with significantly different birth rates and reproductive behavior.
